Squid (1 kg)

Is there anyone who turns down crispy calamari dipped in spicy marinara? We love the versatility of squid in risottos, soups, stuffed with breadcrumbs and capers, and of course, for frying. These wild-caught baby squid come whole, so they must be cleaned before cooking (it's easy, just remove the contents and cartilage inside the body tube and cut off the eye). This gives you the flexibility to cook the squid in whole tubes, or slice it into rings. Each box contains 1 kg of squid, or about 20 pieces, frozen in a block.
